How are you preparing for tomorrow's big snow?

As warnings of a major snowfall (the first in years!) are everywhere, I'm thinking about what I'll be doing that's different from what I usually do.

I'll be painting, of course, and reading, Maybe some baking. I probably won't be going to the gym, taking a walk or playing pickleball. And I'll be hoping we don't lose power.

In short, not much. (I lead a pretty quiet life.)

How about you?

From a photo I took last spring at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden. Did you know that carnivorous pitcher plants bloom?

Yep, and they smell good too, as confirmed by US Forest Service.

Be careful if you have to drive in the snow. And be really careful if you have to go to the grocery store – those people are crazy!

P.S. Special thanks to the line crews, grocery clerks, road crews and others who keep us warm and fed during the awful weather we're having this winter.
